About The Position

MaineGeneral Health is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Food & Nutrition team at Glenridge in Augusta. This is a hands-on evening role where your work directly supports residents every day. No food service experience? That’s okay. If you show up, work hard, and have a good attitude, we will train you. Responsibilities

  • Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients/residents, guests, service/dining areas, and catering services
  • Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including cashiering, waiting tables, tray line delivery, and catering special events
  • Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and procedures
  • Assists with sanitation duties, including dish washing and maintaining work and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
  • Follows food safety and safety guidelines at all times
  • Works as part of a team to keep meals moving on time
  • This is a physically active role. You will be on your feet, bending, lifting, and moving throughout your shift.
