About The Position

Are you a Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers? Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide to work at Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Newport House has 24 skilled nursing/rehabilitation and 72 long-term care suites. The schedule for this position is Friday 10:30am-7:00pm, Saturday 3:00pm-7:00pm, and Sunday 10:30am-7:00pm, including holidays. Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this position. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate/Dietary Aide include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
BLS certification (Basic Life Support) or willing to obtain certification if hired is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous food service experience preferred.
For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
