About The Position

PeaceHealth is seeking a Food Service Assistant-Customer Service for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Variable position. This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. We have openings for Cashier/Barista/Server positions for various shifts. Compensation starts at $20.06-$27.36 per hour, depending on experience. Requirements

Must be over 18 years old.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Washington State Food Handler Card is required.
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work well with others.

Nice To Haves

Experience in retail, restaurant or food service preferred.
Experience with cashier and cash handling duties preferred.
Experience with Espresso and customer beverages preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing excellent customer service in our Cafes.
Accurate cash handling and adherence to cash handling policy and procedures.
Prepare and serve Espresso and Coffee Beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
Portion and serve food following applicable guidelines. Answer customer questions about food choices and preparation.
Follow instructions for workstation set up and clean up as assigned.
Stock and clean service areas. Transport food and supplies as directed. Performs other duties as assigned
