About The Position

PeaceHealth is seeking a Food Service Assistant-Customer Service for a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Variable position. This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. We have openings for Cashier/Barista/Server positions for various shifts. Compensation starts at $20.06-$27.36 per hour, depending on experience. Requirements

  • Must be over 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Washington State Food Handler Card is required.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail, restaurant or food service preferred.
  • Experience with cashier and cash handling duties preferred.
  • Experience with Espresso and customer beverages preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing excellent customer service in our Cafes.
  • Accurate cash handling and adherence to cash handling policy and procedures.
  • Prepare and serve Espresso and Coffee Beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Portion and serve food following applicable guidelines. Answer customer questions about food choices and preparation.
  • Follow instructions for workstation set up and clean up as assigned.
  • Stock and clean service areas. Transport food and supplies as directed. Performs other duties as assigned
