About The Position

As a Food Server on the day shift, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Your primary objective is to ensure customer satisfaction by accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and addressing any guest needs or concerns with professionalism. You will collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders while maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. This role requires a strong focus on communication and multitasking to manage multiple tables and requests simultaneously. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
  • Basic math skills to handle transactions and provide correct change.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the location of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a courteous and timely manner, providing menus and answering initial questions.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards.
  • Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any additional requests or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables.
  • Process guest payments accurately and handle cash or electronic transactions responsibly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and assist in opening or closing duties as needed.
