About The Position

The Food Server position requires candidates to exhibit a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow associates. Candidates must be articulate, motivated, and customer service oriented, displaying thorough knowledge of all menu selections and daily specials. The role requires the ability to work flexible hours and be reliable and responsible for scheduled shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow associates.
• Greets guests and provides drink orders to each guest.
• Provides friendly and efficient service to all guests in assigned outlet.
• Delivers food ordered to guests using a food tray.
• Completes all assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks according to all F&B S.O.P.'s.
• Up-sells wine and liquor.
• Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Must become TIPS certified and have a solid comprehension of the training.
• Other duties/venue as assigned.

Benefits

• Starting rate of $10.00 per hour plus tips.
