About The Position

The Food Server at MGM National Harbor is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by taking and delivering orders, maintaining tables, ensuring guest satisfaction, and processing payments. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while performing side work and maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas.

Requirements

• 5 years prior relevant experience as a Food Server (Waitress or Waiter).
• Prior experience in a high-paced environment with food service.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet each guest warmly and with a friendly attitude.
• Be familiar with all menu items, including food and drinks, and use effective selling techniques.
• Keep tables clean and tidy throughout the dining experience.
• Accurately prepare bills and efficiently process payments.
• Ensure assigned areas, side stations, tables, and POS stations are clean and fully stocked.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly with urgency.
• Coordinate with management, chefs, and other staff to address any issues or special requests.
