WE LOVE OUR WORK. MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Must have full knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and prices, to include food and beverage. Have a thorough knowledge of the sequence of service and follow it at all times. Be able to describe all items on menu and drink specials. Assist other servers to give the best possible service. Perform necessary side work. Handles guest checks according to internal hotel policy. Follow departmental rules to ensure safety, cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Responsible for proper uniform attire and proper name tag. Serves all food and beverages with proper garnishes. Monitor all tables in your station to be sure that they are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion. Make every possible effort to approach every table within two minutes. Maintain teamwork with other team members at all times. Maintain a level of service, be able to greet a guest within 1 minute, approach the table within 2 minutes, and serve cocktails/beverages within 3 minutes. Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and staff. Performs related work as requested. Requirements

Experience in high volume full service restaurant with tray service is preferred.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner.
Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationship with staff.
Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
Required to pass written exam, to determine knowledge of menu and beverage items, and sequence of service.
Clark County Health Card, Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card
