This position offers the ability to work in either Retail gift shops, Rentals, Food & Beverage locations or a scheduled combination of all the above. This position is responsible for a wide variety of revenue-generating functions, from greeting guests, helping ticket and stock merchandise, assisting guests with purchases by providing product information, conducting Point of Sale transactions, taking and preparing food and beverage orders, and delighting the customer with exceptional experience. Requirements

  • No education requirements for this role
  • Previous work experience is not required
  • Must become Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) or become so within 90 days of hire, when required by state and local guidelines.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
  • Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with NH Child Labor Laws
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have negative TB test results within the last 2 years
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
  • Ability to comply with all uniform policies
  • Must possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state, and local food preparation and serving regulations
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
  • Ability to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
  • Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
  • Ability to withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipment
  • Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a fun and inviting manner!
  • Smile and communicate with coworkers and guests
  • Assist guests by quickly and politely answering their questions regarding retail or food products
  • Maintain a general knowledge of the items to assist guests with questions regarding products
  • Suggestive sell items to guests
  • Restock merchandise as needed
  • Conduct POS transactions while ensuring all procedures are followed – including credit and refund transactions.
  • Ensure that all PCI and park guidelines are being followed for all financial transactions.
  • Take food and beverage orders
  • Prepare and serve food orders, while following all procedures and safety guidelines
  • Replenish condiments, beverages, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work area.
  • Maintain cleanliness within all assigned work areas
  • Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisor.
  • Assist in other areas of the park to ensure guest satisfaction, if needed
  • All other duties as assigned by leadership
