About The Position

Step into an entry-level position where every detail you capture protects product integrity and keeps EFCO’s certifications strong. As our Food Safety & Quality Systems Coordinator, you’ll partner with QA, Production, Sanitation, and cross-functional teams to keep our facility compliant with EFCO’s food safety and quality programs. A Day in the Life You start by reviewing the day’s production schedule and verifying records are prepared. On the floor, you perform routine walkthroughs to observe cleanliness, GMP adherence, and safety behaviors. If you notice anything unusual—potential contamination, off-spec product, or a deviation—you immediately alert QA Management. Back at your desk, you update and control food-safety-related forms, logs, and SOPs, support internal audits by gathering documents and conducting preliminary observations, and lend a hand with basic lab work such as dry mix baking (training provided). When customer complaints arise, you pull records and contribute to investigations. Throughout, you follow all GMPs, SOPs, and safe work practices and jump in to assist QA Technicians or handle other QA-related tasks as assigned.
