SUMMARY: The Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician position is responsible for: Performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems then documenting, and calculating results accurately Taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management. Any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety. Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 70 pounds. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; steel-toed work boots, hardhats, safety glasses, hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), and smocks. Cell phones and jewelry are not permitted on the factory floor.
