About The Position

Our Food Safety Quality Assurance Utility Technician is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety. Overtime as needed. The pay rate of $30.44 (Not Negotiable), along with Benefits, Medical/Vision/Dental & the chance to join a great team!

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the Food Industry or other QA type experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skills to complete Tyson paperwork.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
  • Good problem identification and problem solving skills.
  • Math and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to function well under stress.
  • Flexibility to work where and when needed.
