About The Position

This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards of products produced. Other responsibilities include: production paperwork verification; production floor checks; performing GMP and housekeeping audits; responsible for Team Member food safety training. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities evaluating results coordinating with others. This position is responsible for food safety food quality and legality.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in the production of soups, sauces, or toppings.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP or PCQI, FDA, GMP, SSOPs.
  • Computer skills and knowledge to use applications such as SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, LIMS, and SafetyChain.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with production and maintenance departments to conduct contamination investigations.
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections of production lines after sanitation processes.
