Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of HACCP training and exam
Knowledge of SQF Code for food packaging manufacturing
Strong communication, documentation, and Microsoft Office skills
Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines
Ability to travel as needed

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in science, food science, or related technical discipline
Experience with SQF, GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and quality systems in a high level production environment

Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain the SQF System, HACCP Plan, and all key food safety programs
Serve as the primary liaison during audits, inspections, and interactions with certifying bodies
Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GMP, sanitation, allergen control, pest control, and chemical control programs
Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Provide routine updates to senior leadership on food safety system performance
Train employees on SQF, GMP, and overall food safety standards
