About The Position
The Food Runner plays a key role in maintaining efficient service flow and upholding brand excellence. The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally. Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and organized manner Ensure all dishes are accurate, properly plated, and meet presentation standards before leaving the kitchen Announce dishes upon delivery and describe items when necessary Verify dietary restrictions, modifications, and special requests Assist servers with table maintenance and guest needs Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Maintain cleanliness of expo line and service areas Assist with side work, including polishing silverware and restocking stations Support team members during peak business hours Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience preferred (high-volume experience a plus)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and presentation standards
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry trays up to 30–40 pounds
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
