About The Position

The world famous Sylvia's Restaurant is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Food Runners to join our Service Team. Under the direction of our Managers and The Sylvia's Way Standards, the Runner will assist the dining room Servers in delivery food and providing great customer service. Runners will work closely with all FOH staff and the kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently.

Requirements

• Have a great work ethic and commitment to uncompromising quality
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
• Have basic to intermediate English communication skills
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs as needed

Nice To Haves

• Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist the dining room Servers in delivery food
• Providing great customer service
• Work closely with all FOH staff and the kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently
• Maintain the restaurant with regards to cleanliness, neatness and customer accessibility.
• Work as a team member to support other restaurant employees in their duties.
