About The Position

Thank you for your interest in TAO Beach Dayclub, Marquee Dayclub, Liquid Pool Lounge, Palm Tree Beach Club, and A New Daylife Experience by Tao Group Hospitality at Caesars Palace. Once you have applied online, you will receive a text message to RSVP for an interview. RSVPs are preferred but not required. Interviews for Food Runners will be held on January 7th, 8th, & 9th at Hakkasan Nightclub, located inside the MGM Grand: 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109. Upon arrival to the audition, candidates will select which venue(s) they are interested in applying for. The Food Runner delivers all food menu items and accurately describes them to the guests. Acts as a liaison between the servers and chefs. Interacts with the guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner to ensure an exemplary experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Anticipate and accommodate all needs of the guests. Provides professional and exceptional service. Delivers and describes all food items to the guests, in a timely manner. Performs table maintenance and bussing of excess tableware. Maintain general cleanliness of all venue areas throughout service. Follow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers, and be a team player. Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food menus, venue, and the company. Possess general knowledge of all beverage menus. Knowledge of all ingredients used in food items as it pertains to allergies. Complies with Department of Health standards. Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, managers, and chefs. Properly sets-up runner’s station, performs side-work and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including: Stocks station with prescribed items and supplies Performs opening side-work as prescribed Performs closing side-work as prescribed Reports all breakage, and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management. Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings. Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings. Learn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by example. Portrays a positive and professional attitude. Demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments. Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members. Assist and/ or complete additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Tao Group Hospitality in-venue food runner training
Previous hospitality experience, preferred.
Previous food running experience preferred.
Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge, preferred.
21+ years of age (nightlife/daylife requirements)
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate
Must have good positive energy throughout the day
Must be able to print legibly for team members, management, and guests to read
Must be able to bend, kneel, and/or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to move quickly
Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volume
Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials
May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required
