About The Position
Join our top-rated food and beverage team and transform your passion for great food into exceptional guest service—growing your skills in effective selling techniques, proper food and liquor handling methods, and restaurant operations. Specific Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies) Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins Serve welcome drinks and hors d’oeuvres, upon guests’ arrival Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards Double check the order before it goes to a customer Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct customer Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed Remove dirty dishes and utensils Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items This is a part-time opportunity. Shifts will vary between 10:00am and 9:00pm, weekdays and weekends. While there is an opportunity to pick up evening shifts, we are looking primarily for daytime shifts for this opening.
Requirements
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
- Good oral communication skills
- Serve Safe certified or ability to obtain certification
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
- Great organizational skills
- Weekend availability required

Responsibilities
