Responsibilities of Food Runners include serving food orders to guests in a timely manner as well as keeping dining area clean. Make sure modifications are made to food items correctly and work directly with the chefs to communicate important information. Responsibilities Prepare dining room Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables and the bar quickly and accurately Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items Present a professional manner at all times Protect establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature) Act as the contact point between front of the house and back of the house staff Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to guest spills or other special needs Close dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and/or vacuuming floors, and removing trash and recyclables from the facility Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture Perform other job-related duties as assigned
