About The Position

The Hollywood Roosevelt is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner to support our Food & Beverage service teams. This role is essential in ensuring seamless delivery of food and beverages while maintaining the flow, organization, and cleanliness of service and kitchen areas. The Runner plays a key part in creating a smooth and memorable guest experience by supporting servers, bartenders, and the culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food items to guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dishes are presented with the proper accompaniments according to the chef’s standards
• Assist with various aspects of table service, including delivering beverages, bussing and resetting tables, and responding promptly to guest needs
• Maintain strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, specials, and ingredients, as well as general hotel and local area information
• Stocking and maintaining service tools and equipment
• Completing opening, running, and closing side duties
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and service-ready at all times
