About The Position
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Food Runner to join our front-of-house team. The Food Runner is responsible for ensuring that dishes are delivered to guests quickly, accurately, and with excellent presentation. This role is vital in maintaining smooth communication between the kitchen and dining area and enhancing the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure all dishes are accurate, complete, and visually appealing before leaving the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth order flow.
- Assist servers with table maintenance, such as clearing dishes and resetting tables.
- Provide basic information about dishes when needed and respond to guest requests politely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and food pass area.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with restocking and side work as needed.
