About The Position

We are looking for a Restaurant Food Runner who will have a genuine passion for guest service and the ability to work well in a team. While carrying out the job duties listed below, you will contribute to our continued success by demonstrating unsurpassed guest service, a high level of integrity and ethical standards, and personal and professional dedication to our mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

At least 1 year of Food Runner experience preferred.
Flexible schedule is required, must be available to work evening shifts including weekends and holidays.
Previous point of sale system experience an asset.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
Highly responsible & reliable.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Ability to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift.
Ability to carry trays of 35lbs. or more, and lift up to 50lbs.
Full COVID Vaccination and Booster is a required condition of employment

Previous point of sale system experience an asset.

Responsibilities

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
Deliver food from kitchen to table.
Organize food tickets in kitchen.
Memorize table numbers and positions.
Assist guests when necessary.
Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.
Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
Other duties as assigned.
Adhere to Forbes 5-Star Standards set forth by the hotel.
