About The Position

Lucero at Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU is seeking a service-focused and energetic Food Runner to join our evening team. Perched on the rooftop with sweeping views of downtown Tempe and A Mountain, Lucero offers a vibrant atmosphere and a chef-driven scratch menu inspired by bold Southwestern flavors. As a Food Runner, you’ll play a key role in connecting kitchen excellence with exceptional guest experiences.
This is a part-time position with evening availability required Tuesday through Saturday.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an upscale restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable and available for PM shifts Tuesday through Saturday
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods
• Must have Food Handlers and ServSafe Alcohol Certification.

• Previous experience in an upscale restaurant or hospitality environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver plated food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
• Communicate seamlessly with servers and culinary team to ensure flawless service
• Describe dishes to guests and answer basic food-related questions
• Keep expo and service areas clean, organized, and stocked
• Reset tables and assist in maintaining a polished dining room
• Step in to support the team wherever needed during high-volume dinner service
