About The Position

The food runner is responsible for assisting servers and/or bartenders in providing exceptional service to our guests while also running food items from the expo window. An important part of this position is to be a team player. You are responsible for helping make sure items leave the expo window correctly, and getting those items to the correct table(s). Although this can be an entry-level position, in certain locations previous experience in a similar role may be required because the position is crucial to the guest's dining experience.

No known allergies to cleaning/sterilizing products.
High School degree or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License.
Food Handler Certification
Knowledge of customer service principles.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the hospitality/food industry helpful.

Responsibilities

Run food from the expo window.
Assist in preparing food to leave the expo window as necessary.
Assist in maintaining adequate supplies of items needed throughout the shift such as specialty flatware, garnish items, and sauces.
Assists in maintaining proper condition and cleanliness of the expo window and surrounding area according to health department standards.
Completes any assigned "sidework," and performs such other duties as may be assigned.
Carry food items to tables.
Ask guests if they are in need of anything upon delivering food items.
Brings safety concerns to the attention of management.
Alerts the Manager on duty of customer issues or needs.
Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies, alert Manager to any issues.
