About The Position
Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner / Expeditor at Solage, where you will play a vital role in enhancing our guests' dining experience. In this key position, you will be responsible for the swift and precise delivery of delectable orders from the kitchen to the tables, ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. Your role will involve ensuring effective communication between the front of house and back of house teams by calling out orders, checking the status of dishes, and notifying the waitstaff when completed dishes are ready to be served. You will also be tasked with ensuring that all orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks as necessary. In addition to delivering food, you will perform finishing touches on completed dishes, such as adding garnishes and ensuring that plates are free of smudges. Assisting servers, bartenders, and guests will be a crucial part of your responsibilities, as you take orders and deliver requested items efficiently. You will engage with guests to assess their needs and satisfaction with beverages and food, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the expediting area and restaurant outlets is essential, as is ensuring that all food is served in accordance with safety standards, such as proper temperature. You will also check in with guests upon delivery of dishes to ensure they have everything they need, contributing to a seamless dining experience.
