About The Position

M. Peppers is an exciting neighborhood French bistro in the Tyler Park area of the Highlands. Focusing on traditional French cookery with local ingredients and a concentration on French and American wine and classic cocktails that pair harmoniously together.

We are looking for an experienced food runner/ server assistant to provide exceptional hospitality, impeccable service, guide guests through our menu and wine list, and ensure a seamless dining experience. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, a great attitude, and a passion for food and wine.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or plates safely
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables quickly and accurately
• Confirm that orders are complete, correct, and visually appealing before serving
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery
• Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables as needed
• Ensure the expo line and pass are clean, stocked, and organized
• Handle guest requests and relay messages to appropriate team members
• Support servers during busy shifts to ensure seamless service
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
