About The Position

Beach Happy Café is seeking energetic, reliable, and team-oriented Crew Members to join our front-of-house team as Food Runners. This role is essential in delivering a fast, friendly, and seamless dining experience for our guests. You will act as the bridge between the kitchen and guests, ensuring food is delivered accurately, promptly, and with a positive attitude.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
Ensure all plates are presented correctly and meet quality standards before leaving the kitchen
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing plates and resetting tables
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, expo line, and dining room
Provide excellent guest service with a friendly and professional demeanor
Assist with running drinks, condiments, and other guest needs as required
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
