About The Position

The Food Runner at Chop Block & Brew is responsible for maintaining the flow of food service from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring that guests receive high-quality food and service promptly. This part-time role requires a commitment to cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company policies while providing an excellent dining experience for guests.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of kitchen experience in a high-volume establishment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation practices.
• Ability to work as a team member and get along with co-workers.
• Well-groomed appearance and sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to uphold integrity and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality food and service to guests at Harrah's.
• Ensure hot food from the kitchen is served immediately to guests in the dining room.
• Maintain proper plate presentations and portion control as per culinary guidelines.
• Prioritize serving hot food waiting in the kitchen window.
• Greet and serve meals to customers, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
• Familiarize oneself with the steps of service provided by servers.
• Observe all sanitary and safety requirements in food handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper presentation of food at all times.
• Ensure consistent and sanitary food flow from kitchen to guest.
• Adhere to departmental and company policies.

Benefits
