About The Position

Join our team at Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area as a Food Runner/Buffet Attendant in Somerville, MA. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by efficiently delivering food and maintaining a clean and well-stocked buffet area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Food handler certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders promptly and accurately to guests' tables.
• Maintain and replenish the buffet to ensure it is clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service hours.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down buffet stations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to coordinate food deliveries and guest needs.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance the guest experience.
