About The Position

Branding Iron in Sauk Rapids, MN is looking for a qualified Food Quality Assurance Technician. This is a Full-time mid-shift position. We are an innovative company that will invest in your potential. We have the honor and responsibility of working in the food industry. The Food Quality Technician will ensure products meet or exceed customer requirements for quality and food safety.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills between coworkers and supervisors.
• Familiar with USDA regulations.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to make sure quality and food safety standards have been met.
• Proper completion of HACCP, SSOP and other quality department paperwork.
• Support Branding Iron's GMPs and SSOPs and follow up with any deficiencies.
• Perform daily inspections of incoming and finished product. Must accurately document findings.
• Responsible to calibrate and verify equipment.
• Complete chemical titrations and microbiological analysis.
• Perform GMP audits, SSOP and HACCP reviews.
• Perform facility inspections and document findings.
• Perform weekly, monthly, and yearly lab testing on equipment, product, and environment.
