About The Position

The Food Production Manager will oversee culinary operations at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, ensuring high-quality food production and service in one of the Mess Halls. This role involves managing staff, inventory, and food costs while maintaining excellent client relations and service standards.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of operational management experience in a high-volume food service environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on employee engagement.
  • Proficient in online Food Management Systems for menu planning and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen in managing food and labor costs.
  • Experience in safety and sanitation compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Contract food service experience.
  • Experience managing staff in a union environment.
  • Food service experience in a high-end establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day culinary operations for the Mess Hall.
  • Manage food production and ensure recipe compliance.
