About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center located in Boston, MA. In this role you will oversee all procurement for the Food Services operation in a 750+ bed hospital, supporting 3 separate kitchens and 3 retail outlets across both campuses. The Manager works primarily early morning and daytime hours Monday-Friday, but will need the flexibility to work as the manager on duty every third weekend. Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Requirements

• Experience in a food production setting, healthcare environment would be a plus
• Strong financial acumen, and experience with ordering and inventory management
• Dedication to patients and customers to ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily

Responsibilities

• Lead the purchasing across 3 kitchens in partnership with the Executive Chefs to support all food services
• Implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for the hospital
• Maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements
• Provide direction to all front line associates
