About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager 2 to support the Universities Dining segment at Northwest Missouri State University located in Maryville, Missouri. The Food Production Manager will be responsible for resident dining and catering, primarily. They will oversee the culinary team which includes over 100 full-time employees, student team members, and collaborative work on campus. The position reports to the General Manager and has daily client interaction. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. Requirements

• A strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards.
• Strong coaching and employee development skills.
• Have a passion for food and innovation.
• Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent.
• Minimum Management Experience - 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting.
• Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented.
• Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance.
• Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems.
