About The Position
This position prepares and portions food, nourishment's and special items following standardized recipes and procedures. This position works under the supervision of the Manager, Lead or Resource and is employed by Mosaic Health System.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous institutional dietary food service of at least 1 year preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepares food for patients, special functions, and cafeteria using standardized recipes in the amount specified by production sheets; utilizing food and plate presentation as instructed.
- Processes all foods and operates equipment according to sanitation and safety regulations.
- Assembles patient trays according to the tray tickets.
- Inventories and utilizes in a timely manner any perishable and over produced food items.
- Actively participates in cross training initiatives throughout the Department.
