About The Position
Koha Foods is seeking dedicated Food Processing Staff to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. As one of Hawaii's largest Asian and specialty food distributors, we pride ourselves on supplying local vendors, restaurants, supermarkets, and other stores with a diverse range of food items, including our own line of high-quality gourmet Korean food products. Our company is currently in a growth phase and has recently relocated to a new facility, which presents an exciting opportunity for new team members to contribute to our mission of customer satisfaction and quality service. In this role, the Food Processing Staff will assist the Processing Manager with various tasks related to the preparation, making, and packaging of finished food products for resale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following recipes to produce food items that meet our company standards, ensuring that all ingredients are of high quality and accurately weighed. Attention to detail is crucial, as staff will need to thoroughly clean and inspect bottles and containers for final packaging, properly label products to comply with legal and safety regulations, and maintain accurate inventory levels. Additionally, maintaining a clean and sterile processing area in compliance with our HACCP Program is essential to ensure food safety and quality.
