About The Position

Tasks Use tools as designated by management to prepare product or production tasks. Tend to assembly lines, performing tasks as needed to support the process flow. Grading and inspecting Packing products as directed by management. Prepare product for packing and freezing. May perform other tasks as determined by the production supervisor if trained or qualified to perform. Skills and Abilities Active listening –Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Speaking- Talking to others in a professional and courteous manner to convey information effectively. The ability to operate hand and automatic tools safely and possess good physical dexterity. The ability to work with and safely use sharp instruments (knives and scissors). The ability to see details at close range. The ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using both hands. The ability to stand or sit for long periods of time. The ability to work in hot, cold and or wet environments. The ability to repetitively lift 10-50 lbs. Able to work hours required with a set start time; working until the process is complete (no set end time). Work Activities Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials and manipulating things. Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Wear Common Protective or Safety Equipment such as hairnet, beard net, gloves, cut gloves, smocks, aprons, boots and ear protection.
