Food Prep and Kitchen Help - Corporate Cafe & Catering
About The Position
Lacks Enterprises is accepting applications for a Food Prep-Kitchen Help to join our Corporate Office Café & Catering team. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including occasional overtime for catering needs. The Food Prep/Kitchen Help supports the daily operations of the corporate café and assists with catering services at both on-site and off-site company locations. This role includes food preparation, cleaning, stocking, occasional front-of-house assistance, and helping with the transportation and setup of catering orders.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience required
- SERV Safe Food Certification
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40lb pounds
- Ability to work with food containing allergens
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and perform basic cooking tasks
- Assist with the preparation, packaging, and labeling of catering orders
- Participate in the transportation, setup, and delivery of catering orders
- Maintain proper storage and labeling
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils according to safety standards
- Communicate effectively with the chef and team
- Assist with other kitchen or food-related duties as assigned
