About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, MA. This role oversees daily food service operations with a focus on patient dining, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience that supports patient health and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

food service experience
have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service
exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 years Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid), staff
provide stellar customer service
oversee cash handing processes, and POS programming and maintenance
ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed
conduct patient services standard audits
manage the opening and closing the operation as well daily patient services and retail food service operations
manage vendor relationships and compliance
maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place
