About The Position

Sodexo School Services is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager 3 to join our management team, Gilroy, CA. Our food operations manager will provide operational oversight and will work with our General Manager to implement and maintain Sodexo programs/systems/procedures. This is a key leadership role in establishing and maintaining an exceptionally high level of food service operational standards. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. Requirements

• A work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance.
• Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.
• Well organized, critical thinker, resourceful, and self-motivated.
• Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and develops client relationships and customer satisfaction for multi-functional food service areas to ensure account retention and positive public relations.
• Establishes and maintains a safe work environment.
• Supervises multiple K-12 school sites day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards.
• Utilizes Sodexo resources and programs to ensure operating standards and regulatory requirements are met and employees have the necessary equipment and inventory.
• Manages by providing positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate in order drive a high-level of employee engagement.
