The Food Operations Manager is responsible for managing daily food service operations for both Patient Dining and Retail Services, ensuring a seamless experience that supports patient health, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. Requirements

  • Food service experience
  • Work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs

Responsibilities

  • Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid) staff
  • Provide stellar customer service
  • Oversee cash handling processes, and POS programming and maintenance
  • Ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed
  • Conduct patient services standard audits
  • Manage the opening and closing of the operation as well as daily patient services and retail food service operations
  • Manage vendor relationships and compliance
  • Maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards
