Responsibilities

  • Assembles patient meal trays based on menu selections made in compliance with the patients dietary requirements and restrictions.
  • Collaborates with assigned nursing units to enhance the patient experience.
  • Receives and responds to phone calls regarding patient and guest meal orders.
  • Maintains and documents food preferences, diet orders and food allergies.
  • Helps patients to make menu selections that comply with their dietary requirements and restrictions.
  • Ensures that patient meal process is completed in accordance with time expectations.
  • Assists with patient/guest satisfaction initiatives.
  • Resolves, refers, and/or reports service quality issues as appropriate.
