As a Food-Nutrition Receiving Clerk, you will perform functions necessary to procure, organize, and store food, supplies, and cleaning chemicals for Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) daily operations. You will maintain knowledge in food safety, food allergens, therapeutic diets, and an understanding of applicable local, state, and federal regulations. You will distribute food throughout the facility and to offsite locations as needed, and maintain an organized and sanitary Emergency Food Area with adequate emergency food supplies to meet regulations. To be successful in this role, you will meticulously manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and efficiently distribute all necessary items, directly contributing to the smooth and safe operation of our Food and Nutrition Services.
