Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of (or current enrollment in) coursework approved by the Dietary Managers Association preferred.
One (1) year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting with focus on planning, preparing and servicing regular and therapeutic diets required.
Must meet state-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist the Food and Nutrition Manager with oversight of the Food and Nutrition Department in a long-term care and Skilled Nursing Center.
Assist with the preparation and presentation of food to our Residents and Patients
Ensure all meals meet the nutritional needs of our Residents and Patients
Oversee the Departments Cooks and Aides to ensure the Dietary Program is in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
