About The Position

Hours/Time/Calendar: Per Food Service Master Agreement 5.75 hrs/day Effective: Immediately Reports to: Director of Food Service Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred Compliance with testing and/or certifications as required by the state, health department, or the district (successful completion required for continued employment) Familiar with Health Department rules and regulations Ability to lift 10 – 30 lbs. on a regular basis, without restrictions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis, without restrictions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Job Responsibilities: Ability to interact with customers in order to assure customer satisfaction Prepare food in accordance with Chartwell’s standards Maintain proper and accurate records, including daily production records and charts Responsible for ensuring proper presentation, standard portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures (hot and cold) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Regular and consistent attendance Support administrative staff as needed Organize and store deliveries Multitask various programs at once The Board of Education does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, (including sexual orientation and transgender identity), disability, age, religion, height, weight, marital or family status, military status, ancestry, genetic information or any other legally protected category, (collectively, “Protected Classes”), in its programs and activities, including employment opportunities. Requirements
