Requirements

You MUST hold a NYC Food Handler Certificate

Responsibilities

Warming up food for children
Delivering food to all classrooms for AM snack, lunch, and PM snack
Collecting food from all classrooms after AM snack, lunch, and PM snack
Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage
Washing dishes and putting them away
Keeping the general kitchen area clean (wiping counters, taking out garbage, etc.)
Assist in the classrooms for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
Keeping inventory of food and school supplies, and updating management of what is needed on a weekly basis
