About The Position

Requirements

One month related experience or training
Ability to demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness, and neatness
Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Assures that all material used by servers is clean and ready for daily operation
Possesses knowledge of the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges
Sets the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed for food delivery
Organizes plates in the window and matches each one with each ticket to run food to tables
Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards
Ensures that each menu item is prepared in the exact detail outlined on each ticket
Confirms menu items with the chef before delivering if they do not meet exact ticket specifications
Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings
Clears dishes from in front of guests upon completion of each course
Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, placing chairs, replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins
Assists servers when needed
Keeps workstations stocked with necessary items and ingredients
Cleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
Performs other duties as required
