About The Position

As a Food Expeditor, you will be responsible to ensure smooth communication between the kitchen and front of house staff, coordinating orders, checking dish accuracy, and maintaining timely service.

  • Professional appearance

Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of orders from waitstaff to the kitchen, prioritizing tickets to ensure timely preparation.
  • Inspect dishes from accuracy, temperature, presentation, and completeness before they leave the kitchen.
  • Assist with garnishing, plating, and finishing touches to enhance visual appeal.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between kitchen staff and servers, relaying modifications, delays, or menu updates.
  • Address complaints or special requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized expediting station, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • May assist with food storage, rotation, and inventory management to minimize waste.
  • Other duties as assigned.
