About The Position

Due' Cucina Italiana is looking for a Food Expeditor/Cold Line Cook to join our Capitol Hill team! The restaurant is located at 412 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102. At Due’ Cucina Italiana we love food that is real, fresh and authentic. We serve homemade pasta bowls and other dishes inspired by the best of the Italian tradition. Requirements

  • 1 year of previous kitchen experience
  • High-energy, proactive individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work (and have fun!) in a diverse team
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Attention to detail
  • Passionate about food
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handler’s card within 7 days of hire
  • Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable bending, reaching, and moving quickly
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must speak conversational English

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus (although not required)

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and uphold our company core values.
  • Put orders together with a sense of urgency, making sure all plates are properly garnished.
  • Be responsible for ensuring orders are completed to guest satisfaction and restaurant manager’s specifications.
  • Keep open communication with the Front of House team to effectively meet the needs of our guests.
  • Monitor prepared menu items to determine if quality standards are being obtained.
  • Properly break down the station and clean for the next shift, restocking if necessary.
  • Assist with basic food preparation, packaging, and labeling items when needed.
  • Keep kitchen clean and organized including the walk-in.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
  • Other duties as necessary and assigned.

  • Competitive compensation, based on experience $24.80-$26.80/hour (base wage of $21.30-$23.30/hour plus an additional $3.50/hour in tips (approximated) for a combined wage range of $24.80-$26.80/hour)
