About The Position

The purpose of an Expeditor/Food runner is to coordinate and expedite the delivery of food to the guest in a friendly, courteous, efficient manner at all times resulting in a high level of guest satisfaction. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to interpret and perform MICROS functions.

Responsibilities

  • Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation.
  • Retrieve and deliver food orders in a timely manner.
  • Ensure quality of food being delivered is in accordance to standards.
  • Perform side work and any other duties as requested by supervisor.
  • Communicate any guest needs to the server.
  • Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
  • Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
  • Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.
