About The Position

The Line Server is responsible for assisting the Food Court Supervisors in providing outstanding customer service to all Food Court guests and interacting with guests at the assembly line and perform a variety of tasks, such as delivering orders, answering to customer inquiries, making suggestions, placing food and cutlery on trays, and anticipating guest needs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.
  • One (1) years’ related culinary work
  • Must have fast food or restaurant experience with some POS tender knowledge
  • Must possess some knowledge of spirits, beers and wines and soft beverage products and service techniques
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other Team Members or guests.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to compute complex mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
  • Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Responsibilities

  • Take food orders and rings up all orders correctly in POS system.
  • Provide guests with receipt and correct change.
  • Comply with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and government rules and regulations.
  • Provide outstanding customer and employee service at all times.
  • Prepare stocks, maintain and break down service stations in accordance with outlet standards.
  • Assist department supervisor and manager in arranging counters, workstations, and condiment areas on a shift basis as well as for special events.
  • Efficiently take all guest beverages and food orders in a timely fashion as prescribed by the outlet.
  • Utilize POS system to take guest orders, furnish receipt and provide change when applicable.
  • Actively up sell products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities.
  • Assist department supervisor and manager in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the outlet.
  • Must present a neat and clean appearance at all times.
  • Maintain healthy working relationships with the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
