About The Position

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for ensuring their location is prepared for daily operations, which include, all product availability & staffing levels are appropriate for business needs. They provide training, documentation, coaching & counseling, & conflict resolution. They are responsible for ordering, inventory controls, revenue and labor reporting. Supervisors are to handle any guests concerns that arise & work on the front line as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree / vocational or technical school degree required.
  • California Food Handlers Certificate required.
  • ServSafe Alcohol certification required.
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 1-3 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by park business demands.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates clear direction to staff, dictate staff deployment.
  • Supervises all break & meal periods with the Team Leader at the start shift.
  • Ensures all products are ready for the daily operation of the location.
  • Supervisors are to be present in their locations making sure associates are following all policies and procedures and providing a great guest experience.
  • Walks the shop(s) every hour to ensure all is ready.
  • Manages all safety & sanitation standards, including hot and cold food holding time/temperatures, walk-in/reach-in refrigerators/freezers temperatures, food handling procedures, sanitation practices, staff behaviors, and observing and reporting any pest/rodent activity.
  • Follows up on any reporting and fixing any issues that may have occurred during an audit.
  • Reviews all line schedules to be reviewed 2 weeks in advance to ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Works directly with their Area Manager/Manager to communicate any staffing needs/adjustments.
  • Issues Job Performance Evaluations as appropriate.
  • Completes an accurate weekly inventory for all locations they oversee.
  • Responsible for controlling waste and ensuring appropriate product level.
  • Explains any variances from budget on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Follows the revenue and labor budget for their locations and explains any variances to their direct leadership.
  • Provides training, coaching, and guidance on guest service standards.
  • Knowledgeable of all menu items, seasonal offerings, special dietary needs, and redemption plans.
  • Handles all immediate guest complaints.
  • Maintains and cleans all equipment to ensure it's in good working condition.
  • Reports any equipment issues to Maintenance Control and submits a work order.
  • Informs direct leadership of any equipment issues.
  • Communicates all necessary details on an end of day report including financial data, operational concerns, sanitation & safety, maintenance, guest and associate concerns.
  • Responds to emails daily and communicates any policy changes as necessary.
  • Conducts preshift meetings.
